Our Fun filled Saturday!!!

Our Saturday was busy busy busy and so much fun! We stayed in our pj's till noon and then we all got ready to go to lunch at Zaxby's! The family hung out at the mall for a while before going back home to start cooking our Thanksgiving dinner which ended up being a lot of fun! We had a delicious dinner that we were all very thankful for. After dinner we visited and played games, it was a blast! The picture of Vanessa and I on the floor was part of our game, we had to stand up without using our hands with frogs on our heads for the win of the game ( boys against girls of coarse) HeHeHe...and this picture is our winning moment, Yeah us!!! That was our Saturday!! Still more to come...

My Parents are in Kentucky now!!!

We went to my parent house Friday and got there about 6:30 after about a 6 hour drive. My Dad and Al did some unloading and us girls did the cleaning of the kitchen and a few other things. Then back to the hotel to get some rest for a full days work ahead. We got up Saturday morning about 6:30 and I was not feeling good. We loaded up the room my parents had been staying in and headed to the house to start moving them in. They had 2 trucks to unload. Quite a few guys from the church showed up to help and the job got done quickly!! Needless to say, I was in bed with the stomach flu all day Saturday and no help at all. I felt completely useless. So Sheena and my mom started in the kitchen and things were underway. My dad and Al were busy getting beds and rooms set up a bit for the 1st night stay in the new house. After a good nights sleep I was feeling much better so we tackled the rest of the kitchen and got the job done. Over all the house is very nice and in a very nice location. They are putting new flooring in and painting the master bedroom, but it is going to be GREAT!! It's going to be nice to have them a little closer, ONLY 6 hours as opposed to 20 hours! Yeah.............

Our day at the Canyon/park

We went for a drive to Providence Canyon and it was beautiful. The leaves were all changing and the colors were amazing!! Alana was not feeling that well and starting running a fever that day. Over all we had a good day and of course the playground was Alana's favorite part!

Mushroom "Search & Destroy"

Alana found this very strange mushroom, so she went and got her golf clubs to " take care of it". She was on a mission! She whacked that mushroom over and over again. The weird thing was, it would put this smoky dust into the air each time she hit it. Al took the hose to her beaten down mushroom, talk about a huge cloud of mushroom dust and then it vanished into thin air. It was like the wicked witch on the Wizard of Oz when she was melting! We were all quite entertained......

She's a Rock Star!!!

Ok, so Alana wants to be a ROCK STAR or so she says!! She likes to change her clothes a hundred times a day into dress-ups and she LOVES to sing!! Yesterday she was quite busy as you can see. Her favorite song is “So What” by Pink. She sings “I am a rock star… I got my rock moves… I’m gonna start a fight…” she seemed to pick up the words quite quickly. We are so proud of our little ROCKER!!!

Our Weekend with Friends and Family....

We had a GREAT time in North Carolina this past weekend, but time flew by too quickly. We were able to see one of Al's life long buddy, Andy and his wife Karina and their kids. We had a great time catching up with them. The kids all played and it was nice to be together again. We really enjoyed it. Shea came with us as well and got to spend some time with him friends too. We always enjoy being able to see him. I also got to see my GREAT friend Jackie and her hubby Dave. Thanks for the late night chat we had, it was helpful!! Of course Alana got to see her Best Friend Sofie, and she was so happy about that. She really did not want to leave. We also spent time with Al's mom, Barbara and were able to help a little around the house with some odds and ends and visit some as well. All and all it was a good time and we miss everone there soooooooo much.
