Happy Birthday Christina.....

Today is my older sister Christina's Birthday and I just wanted to tell her Happy Birthday!!!! We are only 13 month apart, so she is really not THAT much older!!!!
I hope that today is a wonderful day for you and that this next year brings you so much happiness all year! We have had so many wonderful and exciting memories over the years and I just wanted to bring a few of them to your attention to reminisce over............
I remember when we were so excited to go to the state fair together and see Grandma and Grandpa there. We always had so much fun and just thinking about it makes me smile. Our four wheeler rides out at the farm and our time we drove it right into the old in ground swimming pool!! Wow, I think I needed driving lessons back then LOL......... I loved when we would ride horses together at Grandma and Grandpa too!! So many good times there that I could go on and on. Our High School years were some fun times.... We did color guard together and only you and me can laugh at all the memories of that!! Our times in marching band and our trip to Florida. We made it through the good and the bad of those years huh!! I have loved ALL the trip that we have been on together and the silly little things that we can giggle at over for hours still. The fact that we can have something to say to each other for hours is amazing and I cherish that so much! You are an amazing woman and I hope you realize that! I want you to know how much I love our relationship and the important person you are in my life. You have been there for me through so much in my life, the great and not so fun! I want to thank you for that! Today, I am so thankful that you were sent to our family from heaven to be apart of our lives and what a blessing you are to all of us!! I wasn't there to remember your birth, but I'm sure I was in heaven missing you and just waiting to join our family to be by your side again!! I love you and hope you have a wonderful day, best of birthday wishes to you! HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHRISTINA!!!

One year ago today Our family lost my brother so suddenly and tragically!! We are all still very saddened and emotional about his loss but on this day I am going to focus on all the things about Chad that are memorable, happy, and that bring a smile to my face! This might be random but it is special to me and I feel like I have so many things running through my mind that I just want to share, so here I go:
  1. Chad LOVED the Lord

  5. Loved to EAT
  6. Mom's homemade cheesecake
  7. The scriptures
  8. He was proud to an be Eagle Scout
  9. Was a good BIG brother
  10. He had a passion for drawing
  11. He laughed a lot when he watched movies

  22. He gave the best horsey rides around the living room
  23. We was amazing at pulling the 100lb sled back up Toboggan Hill!! Over and Over
  24. He wasn't afraid to ride the pink bike with the banana seat
  25. He was my buddy at Grandma and Grandpa Krog's for our annual week stay out on the farm!
  26. He wore a raccoon hat as a young boy while riding that pink bike! LOL There is a picture.
  27. We all enjoyed our camping trips, especially to the Heart Ranch.
  28. He loved to go hunting with my Dad
  29. He really loved Eagles
  30. His Mission for the Church was something he was very proud of.

So, as today passes by and the week to come follows, I will be thinking of Chad and his darling children. He was a wonderful man to so many people in this world! He touched so many peoples lives for good and he will be remember for that. I miss him so much but I know that I will be united with him one day and see him again, I fine comfort in this. I have heard so often from people that have lost loved ones that time will heal and as it comes the turn of one year, I find myself healing little bits at a time. The hole in my heart is still there and it will never be whole again!! Chad, you are loved and miss dearly by so many and it still hurts, but your memories still bring a smile to my face and tears to my eyes................Missing you more than these words can say big brother....

A overdue haircut!!

I finally got Tristin to sit still long enough to cut his hair Sunday afternoon! He is always so busy with his new friends, jumping on the trampoline, riding his bike or roller blading around the block!! He hadn't had a hair cut since he has been here in the middle of Dec.! Anyway, Much better and we even went a little short in case we don't get to it for a while again!!! LOL

Our Saturday Outing in the Mini.....

Saturday was a Beautiful so we spent most of the day outside cleaning the cars and playing. We got the mini ready to take out for the night! Alana loves to go with us to see all the other Mini's and chat with everyone. Once a month we meet at Starbucks with a whole bunch of other Mini owners and chat and then go to dinner some were. It has been a fun way to get to know people since we have moved here. Alana thinks so too......

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SHEENA

Today I just want to tell my sister Sheena, Happy Birthday and that I love her so much!! I hope that you have a wonderful day and that this year brings you so many Great new things in your life. Your deserve it! You are such an amazing, strong woman and you have been through alot! I am proud of you for who you are and know that some day you have the potential to be an amazing wife and mother!! Stay strong and hang in there through these tough times. I know you can because you always do!
I remember all the fun times me, Christina, and Chad had with you when you were little! We always wanted to dress you up and help out so much when you were a baby, mom probably wanted to go crazy. We loved to take you for walks in the stroller and couldn't wait till you could walk. So, we took it upon ourselves to teach you asap and sure enough, by 9 months you were on your feet!! We would fight over you and one time we even pulled on your arms so hard that one of them came out of socket. I think we were in BIG trouble!!
I remember your first day of school and we all thought you were so big then. We were all so excited to hear how it was and if you made new friends. Then there was 5Th grade graduation and you were so tall compared to everyone else! Remember that, what happened..... LOL Anyway, I remember you always had a smile on your face and I still love to see that. I loved it when I got married and you wanted to come visit me and stay the night. We seemed worlds apart but still had a closeness! As today comes and goes I just wanted you to know that I remember the day you came into this world and me Christina, and Chad were all at home so excited to hold you in our arms that we could hardly stand it!! I remember the first time I saw you and how precious you were and still are!! I love you so and hope your Birthday is wonderful and Happy and just know that I am thinking of you and miss you and love you!! I love all the GREAT memories I have of you and all of us being together, they are the best!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY SHEENA
